The Junos are throwing a FREE massive block party in Vancouver next week

The 54th annual Juno Awards are happening at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on Sunday, March 30, and the parties are kicking off all over B.C. and the city in the lead-up to the main event.

Let’s Hear It Vancouver Juno Host Committee has unveiled a lineup of events that will celebrate and amplify the music industry across the city throughout March.

One of the most anticipated highlights is the Let’s Hear It Live Juno Block Party, kicking off Juno Week in downtown Vancouver with a free outdoor party at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square from March 27 to 29.

“The Vancouver Juno Host Committee is committed to creating an inclusive, far-reaching, and meaningful Juno experience,” said Nate Sabine, co-chair of the Let’s Hear It Vancouver Juno Host Committee, in a release.

“Our goal is to celebrate and support the incredible talent in B.C. while ensuring a lasting impact on the local music scene.”

The Let’s Hear It Live Juno Block Party will showcase a variety of established Canadian talent and emerging artists on the TD Main Stage.

Attendees will enjoy performances by local and Juno-nominated artists, discover a night market presented by Granville Flea with local vendors, delicious food trucks curated by Vancouver Night Market, and more.

The TD Stage at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square / Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza features a huge lineup of Juno nominees and talented Canadian artists, including:

  • AR Paisley
  • DijahSB
  • LOONY
  • Priyanka
  • Raman Bains
  • Snotty Nose Rez Kids
  • Swollen Members
  • Suray Sertin
  • Tia Wood
  • Wild Rivers
  • Junior Junos (featuring Kym Gouchie, The Gumboot Kids, Will’s Jams)

There will also be DJs performing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, in sets presented by 5X Fest, Westwood Recordings, and Blueprint Events accordingly.

The block party is just one of the events planned for Vancouver during the Junos season. There will also be an Indigenous business of music workshop, a music therapy session, an Indigenous storytelling circle and music industry mixer, and a lunchtime concert series at The Carnegie Centre.
