AC/DC
What: AC/DC’s North American Tour is in support of the iconic band’s 2020 album, Power Up. It was the group’s third number-one debut on the Billboard 200 and was nominated for three Grammy Awards.
Vancouver fans can look forward to hearing Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney playing some of the group’s biggest hits.

Party for the Planet
What: The City of Surrey is set to host the 14th annual Party for the Planet at Surrey Civic Plaza, presented by TD, on Saturday, April 26.
This year’s event will be packed full of entertainment and activities for the whole family. The best part is that it’s free to attend and just steps from the Surrey Central SkyTrain station.

Kylie Minogue

What: Music superstar Kylie Minogue is coming to Vancouver next spring on her biggest world tour in over a decade. The two-time Grammy winner is bringing the Tension Tour to Pacific Coliseum on Saturday, April 26.
The Princess of Pop has sold over 80 million albums worldwide and is the highest-selling female recording artist from Australia. Minogue was selected as one of Time’s most influential people in 2024 and is also beloved for hits like “The Loco-motion,” “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,” and “Love At First Sight.”

Brewhalla Beer and Music Festival
What: The Brewhalla Beer and Music Festival series is hosting two huge events this spring.
First up is North Vancouver at The Shipyards on Friday, April 11, followed by Fort Langley Park on Saturday, May 17.
At each festival, there will be more than 60 drinks from local favourites like Dageraad, Backcountry Brewing, Trading Post Brewing Co., and Dead Frog Brewery.
The events will also bring food trucks and other refreshments, like local cider, kombucha, seltzer, and wine. Festival-goers can also expect some fun activities like lawn games and beer pong.

Felix Cartal
What: Vancouver-based DJ and electronic dance music producer Felix Cartal is well known for his viral dance parties as well as for winning Dance Recording of the Year at the 2020 Juno Awards for his collaboration with Lights titled “Love Me.” He performs a late show at the Commodore on Saturday, April 26.

The Story of Taylor Swift
What: A show detailing the story of Taylor Swift is coming to Metro Vancouver this month, and it’s surely something Swifties won’t want to miss.
The show, named The Story of Taylor Swift, will be at the auditorium on February 28 and promises to take viewers on a journey through the incredible rise of Taylor Swift, from her early days as a self-made artist writing songs in her bedroom to becoming one of the most influential women in music.
Charity Eden will play Swift in the show, which will feature some of the “Karma” singer’s biggest hits, along with the stories behind the songs.

AMS Block Party

What: The largest university music festival in Western Canada is coming to UBC in April, and it’s a perfect way to celebrate the last of classes this spring.
AMS Events, the events department of UBC’s student association, is hosting the 17th annual Block Party with acclaimed headliner Steve Aoki and more to be announced. The 19+ event will also feature food trucks, drinks, giveaways, and fun games to keep the party vibes going.

Nelly
What: Lace up your Nike Air Force 1s and pull out your Grillz, because Nelly is coming to Vancouver on his latest tour and bringing some big stars along for the ride.
The Where The Party At Tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nelly’s debut studio album Country Grammar, will take over Rogers Arena on Thursday, April 24. Joining the three-time Grammy winner on all-Canadian dates are fellow hitmakers Ja Rule, Chingy, and Jermaine Dupri.
