Vancouver's magical Cherry Blossom Festival returns bigger than ever this spring

Get your cameras ready because the colourful Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) is returning this spring and it will be blooming bigger than ever.
The festival is one of the city’s most beloved yearly events, with a huge lineup of events to discover from March 26 to April 28.
VCBF is a celebration of the city’s gorgeous pink cherry trees, and the 19th annual event will see the debut of the brand-new signature event, Blossom Block Party.

The free Blossom Block Party on April 5 was created in partnership with Public Disco and will bring lively music and DJs together for a Downtown Vancouver dance party at Bentall Centre Courtyard.
“We are so excited for the biggest Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival the city has seen to date,” said Andrea Arnot, VCBF executive director, in a release. “After having welcomed over 75,000 attendees during our 2024 festival season, we are delighted to be able to bring even more events to celebrate not just Vancouverâs iconic cherry blossoms, but also our community and lively neighbourhoods.
“We are particularly excited by the addition of a brand-new signature event, the Blossom Block Party, developed with our friends at Public Disco, and hope to see the same excitement as we do for our other long-standing events.”
