You can ride a Ferris wheel high above two million tulips near Vancouver this spring
After a long winter, it’s time to take in rows and rows of colourful flowers to brighten your mood and get inspired for spring.
Luckily for us, the Botanica Tulip Festival is returning to Chilliwack in mid-April, with nearly two million bulbs ready to bloom throughout the season.
Botanica is a floral experience that stretches across 14 acres in the Fraser Valley. Flower fans can check it out on the tentative opening date of April 11.

There will be over 80 unique varieties of tulips and spring flowers to discover at the 2025 Botanica Tulip Festival, located at 41310 Royalwood Dr., Chilliwack. There will also be plenty of fun photo ops along the garden paths.
Previous editions of the pet-friendly festival featured swing sets, viewing platforms, an antique horse cart, and even a 1950s Morris convertible that you can take photos with.
New this year is a complimentary Ferris wheel that guests can ride on Tuesday to Sunday afternoons from April 11 to May 4. It promises a sky-high vantage point of all of the flowers and a fun ride for visitors of all ages.

Guests are also invited to bring some of the spring blooms home with them via the largest spring U-Pick in the region. Brighten your or someone else’s day with ranunculus, anemones, snapdragons, stock, and more.
Mapalo Coffee will be on-site daily, along with a lineup of rotating food trucks, such as the Cachito Mio taco truck. Make sure to stop by the farm shop to pick up items from Smoking Gun Coffee, Chilliwack River Honey, Tuscan Farm Gardens, Janaya Robinson Art, and Fieldside Freeze Drying.

“With the expanded spring U-Pick, exciting new vendor line-up, and the addition of our Ferris wheel, this year’s festival promises to be full of fresh experiences and breathtaking views.”
