The UFC is returning to Vancouver this year, and tickets are set to go on sale later this summer.

Following the success of UFC 289 in 2023, which drew 17,000 Vancouver MMA fans to Rogers Arena and generated $5.14 million at the gate, the Octagon will return to the city for UFC Fight Night on Oct. 18.

This will be the first time that Vancouver has hosted a UFC Fight Night since 2019.

Fighting fans eager to get into the arena for this event will have to wait a bit longer as tickets are set to go on sale starting on Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. PDT.

UFC Fight Club members will get first dibs on tickets starting on August 20, while subscribers to the UFC newsletter will have access to a presale on August 21.

All ticket sales will be limited to eight per person.

The fight card has yet to be determined for the event.

UFC CEO Dana White said that Vancouver would “always be a destination” following the last time The Octagon visited the city. Though the event itself went smoothly, there was a bit of controversy.

A fight broke out amongst the fans at Rogers Arena during UFC 289, resulting in multiple people hitting the deck after a railing collapsed. Legendary fighter Amanda Nunes also announced her retirement at the event.

This will be the seventh UFC event held in Vancouver since 2010 and the 35th in Canada since it debuted in Canada in 2008. Vancouver is tied with Toronto for the second-most UFC events held in a Canadian city.

Montreal leads the way with eight events.
