The warmer weather in Vancouver means one thing: it’s officially patio season, baby. Time to gather some of your closest pals, order a couple of shareable appies, grab a drink, and bask in the sun. Thankfully, there are plenty of patios in Vancouver to sit back and relax on.

But if you’re having trouble choosing which one to visit, OpenTable recently released a list of the top 100 restaurants for outdoor dining in Canada to make your decision easier, and 10 Vancouver spots landed on the list.

OpenTable compiles this list by analyzing over a million diner reviews and metrics, including diner ratings, reservation demand, and percentage of reviews tagged as “outdoor dining,” among other factors.

“As patio season gets underway, Canadians are clearly eager to dine in the sunshine. We see it in how they book, with 62 per cent choosing a restaurant specifically for its outdoor seating,” said Laure Bornet, senior vice president of international growth at OpenTable.

According to the list, the top patios in Vancouver are Dockside Restaurant, Earls Kitchen and Bar in Ambleside, Homer Street Cafe and Bar, Lift Bar and Grill, Maxine’s Cafe and Bar, Oddfish Restaurant, Provence Marinaside, Radish, The Keg Yaletown, and Wildlight Kitchen and Bar.

And it’s not just the city that’s getting recognition either, as two Langley restaurants have also made the list: Haven Kitchen and Bar and Tap and Barrel Willowbrook.

Plus, The Dining Room at Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island also made the list, alongside Victoria’s Boom + Batten, Finn’s Seafood, Fireside Grill, Glo Restaurant and Lounge, and Wind Cries Mary.

To conclude the B.C. inclusions, a couple of restaurants in Kelowna also landed in the top 100: Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery, Ken and Folk Kelowna, and Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate Winery.
