It’s official, Tap & Barrel is coming to The Amazing Brentwood (TAB).

The Vancouver-based restaurant company will be opening its new location in one of the concept’s highly coveted spaces overlooking Brentwood Plaza.

Expanding over three levels with 10,000 sq ft of interior space and 7,000 sq ft of rooftop patio space, Dished Vancouver is told this Tap & Barrel location will offer “breathtaking views of the plaza” and views of the Burnaby skyline.

It will feature an indoor-outdoor dining concept and an expansive rooftop patio.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tap & Barrel into The Amazing Brentwood family, and to offer our guests their genuine hospitality in an environment that is unique to Burnaby with its sense of place on Brentwood Plaza,” said Emma Fyfe, General Manager, The Amazing Brentwood.

“When curating our lineup of restaurants, we felt it essential that we found partners that represent the appetite of the Burnaby community. Tap & Barrel, along with Earls and La Taqueria, all bring something unique and whether our guests are looking for a place to dine with their family, enjoy a rooftop cocktail, or grab a casual bite while shopping, there truly is something for everyone.”

This announcement comes shortly after Earls revealed its newest location is set to open at TAB in late Summer 2022.

The new Tap & Barrel at TAB is slated to open in early 2023. We’ll keep you posted on all the updates along the way.

The locally-grown brand has been making serious moves lately.

This summer, the group announced Tap & Barrel Bridges, described as a combination of Bridges’ legacy and Tap & Barrel’s philosophy, would be opening in the space of Bridges Restaurant on Granville Island.

Tap & Barrel Bridges will be the group’s flagship location as well as the test kitchen for the company’s culinary development program. It’s set to open in Spring 2022.
