Metro Vancouver bar located inside doughnut shop announces closure

After a brief run, the team over at Sweet Talk in Port Moody has announced that its late-night bar concept is taking an indefinite pause.
“We’ve decided to shut it down and shift our focus on other parts of the business that we feel need just a little more thought and care right now,” wrote Sweet Talk Bar on Instagram.
Before you worry too much, Sweet Talk Donuts (a.k.a. the home of one of Metro Vancouver’s best breakfast sandwiches), which operates in the same space, will remain open.
“It’s not goodbye forever. We’ll continue to work away in the background, developing new ways to deliver good food and drinks to our guests, it just might look a little different next time,” added the bar on Instagram. The graphic for the Instagram post reads “Closed for now…,” so we hope it won’t be too long of a pause before we’ll be able to visit whatever new idea the team is cooking up.
