Starbucks closes its doors on Granville Street in Vancouver
Earlier this week Dished was the first to report Starbucks Canada’s news that up to 300 cafes across the country would be closing by the end of March.
Starbucks locations – most of them in metro, downtown core areas – have been quietly shuttering since fall and will continue to close as a part of the company’s next phase of store transformation.
The brand is focusing on more convenience-led store formats such as Mobile Order and Pay, Starbucks Delivers, and curbside pickup.
