Family-owned Mexican restaurant opens new Vancouver location

After announcing the location two years ago, the beloved Mexican restaurant Sal y Limon has opened the doors to its fourth location — and it’s here in Vancouver.
“We know it took forever… but HERE WE ARE: East Hastings is OPEN!” wrote the restaurant.

Sal y Limon is best known for its Mexican classics like tacos, burritos, tortas, and more. We’re particularly fond of the Torta Ahogados, which is a sandwich covered in medium or extra-spicy salsa.

This new location is the fourth for the brand, with two other locations in Vancouver and one in Surrey. It also comes just months after the restaurant had to close its original Kingsway location after over a decade, with a new outpost opening just down the street.
Located at 3614 East Hastings St., the new spot is right beside the yet-to-be-open restaurant called Mad Hatter Bistro, which advertises itself as a “mad restaurant experience.”
