The cast of 'Shogun' was just spotted at another Vancouver restaurant
After members of the Shogun cast were seen dining together at Vancouver’s Mnimes Restaurant & Bar by Chef Manos, cast members Masataka Kubota and Asami Mizukawa were spotted at Nui.
“A special evening at Nui. It was such a pleasure welcoming Masataka Kubota and Asami Mizukawa for dinner last night. Thank you both for bringing such warmth to our little space and spending your evening with us,” wrote the restaurant on Instagram. “We’ll be cheering you on in Shogun Season 2!”

Kubota joined the cast of FX’s Shogun Season 2 as a new character named HyĹ«ga, while Mizukawa plays the new character Aya.
Shogun started filming its second season here in January and wrapped filming earlier this month. The first season of the historical drama, based on a 1970s book, was filmed around Metro Vancouver and B.C.

As for Nui, the restaurant is best known for its Korean fare and recently made the 2026 Air Canada Best New Restaurant finalist list.
