There is a lot of chowing down for us to do in Vancouver, and these new eateries make our to-eat lists longer than ever.

Just opened, opening soon, or newly reopened, here are all the new Vancouver restaurants to try this month.

Hon’s Wonton House has opened its second Vancouver location at 1661 E Broadway, just at the corner of Broadway and Commercial. The concept also operates a location at 25 E 2nd Avenue in Olympic Village. It’s known for its classic Cantonese comfort eats with a menu of everything from handmade wontons to pan-fried potstickers.

G8 is now popping up every Tuesday in Richmond’s Icy Bar, located at 4940 Number 3 Road #115. This weekly appearance means you can head to the dessert destination Tuesday from 11 am to 11 pm and grab some of its signature grub, or you can pre-order by calling 778-288-9216.

Zubu has opened a ramen bar outpost in Kerrisdale at 2129 W 41st Avenue and in Burnaby, as well as a “food hall” concept in Olympic Village at 159 W 4th Avenue. This new spot offers authentic Japanese ramen, hand-made gyoza, and fresh temaki.

Holy Chow is operating out of Say Hey Cafe while those owners take a breather, and it’s offering a new array of eats fresh out of the Chinatown location at 156 E Pender Street. The eatery offers a variety of rice bowls with proteins such as Korean Braised Beef Short Ribs, Braised Pork Belly, Spicy BBQ Chicken, and Vegan Tofu, to name a few.

Folks can now find the Oomomo Cafe open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 5:30 pm on the second floor of Oomomo in the Aberdeen Centre in Richmond. For now, the Oomomo Cafe only serves coffee and several varieties of Japanese Mazazu Crêpes, such as Choco Almond Banana, Blue Strawberry Cheesecake, and Ham & Egg, to name a few flavours.
