The Oomomo Cafe is now open in Richmond's Aberdeen Centre

Japenese variety store Oomomo has several locations around Metro Vancouver, and the popular brand just softly opened a new cafe in the area.

Folks can now find the Oomomo Cafe open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 5:30 pm on the second floor of Oomomo in the Aberdeen Centre in Richmond.

For now, the Oomomo Cafe only serves coffee and several varieties of Japanese Mazazu Crêpes, such as Choco Almond Banana, Blue Strawberry Cheesecake, and Ham & Egg, to name a few flavours.

The new sweet spot currently offers several kinds of soft-serve ice cream as well.

Oomomo says that patrons after Melon Buns will need to wait a little longer until the cafe is fully up and running.

Once it’s operating with its full menu, Oomomo Cafe will have several pastries and treats up for order too — we’ll keep you posted when that happens.
