Spot for dumplings and rice bowls "Holy Chow" opens in Vancouver

May 26 2020, 8:04 pm

There’s a new spot in Vancouver to grab handmade dumplings and rice bowls.

Holy Chow is operating out of Say Hey Cafe while those owners take a breather, and it’s offering a new array of eats fresh out of the Chinatown location at 156 E Pender Street.

This pop-up concept is brought to us by Issac Ko, Chef and part-owner of Sai Woo, Christian Wong, part-owner of Sai Woo, and Charlotte Lind-Petersen of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Lobby Lounge.

The eatery offers a variety of rice bowls with proteins such as Korean Braised Beef Short Ribs, Braised Pork Belly, Spicy BBQ Chicken, and Vegan Tofu to name a few.

Holy Chow also has Thai Curry and a selection of sides like Asian Slaw and housemade kimchi.

You can order Holy Chow for contactless delivery through Uber Eats, Skip The Dishes, and DoorDash daily from 11 am to 11 pm.
