Vancouver matcha pop-up to open summer matcha bar in Gastown
Joining the likes of Nana’s Green Tea and Emeri Matcha Bar, matcha pop-up Matcha Made is opening a summer matcha bar at a permanent location for the first time in Vancouver.
“We know you’ve been waiting for our opening date and we’re excited to share that our tentative opening date is set in early June,” wrote the matcha brand on Instagram.

The new outpost can be found at 134 W. Hastings St. and will occupy the event space at Xerxes Barber and Lounge.
“From doing pop ups all over Vancouver & Toronto, it’s crazy to say we’ll have a storefront this summer in Gastown. It’s been in the works since January and the time has finally arrived. With our space, we intend to bring you creativity in a cup and explore unique flavours that blend perfectly with matcha,” added Matcha Made.
A preview of the menu includes options like Cinnamon Bun Matcha, Earl Grey Matcha, Ube Matcha, and a limited-time special Tofu Pudding Matcha.

Matcha Made’s summer matcha bar will softly open in Vancouver on June 6.
