Much-loved Vancouver-based doughnut shop to expand to Victoria

Lee’s Donuts is expanding outside of Metro Vancouver with a new outpost coming to Victoria soon.
Following the news of major expansion plans from the brand, Lee’s will be opening in Victoria’s historic Old Town district, marking the first-ever Vancouver Island location for the team.
“This is a major milestone for Lee’s Donuts,” said Allan Bacani, owner of Lee’s Donuts.
“We’ve wanted to come to Victoria for a long time, and we’re excited to finally make it
happen. Lee’s Donuts has always been about simple, classic donuts and creating places
that feel connected to the community. We can’t wait to become part of the Victoria
community.”
This new location will be serving all of its popular doughnuts, including its signature Honey Dip alongside its classic yeast and cake donuts made fresh daily.
“This is about introducing Lee’s Donuts to a new community while staying true to
everything people have loved about the brand since 1979,” added Bacani. “Victoria has an
incredible food culture and a real appreciation for local businesses with history. It feels like
a natural next step for us.”

Lee’s has even received approval from Hollywood celebrities like Vancouver’s Seth Rogen during numerous Netflix shows like Dinner Time Live with David Chang and Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Even Canadian comedian Ivan Decker shouted out the donut shop and said it was “incredible.”
An exact opening date for the new location has yet to be announced.
