Ever since it started slinging donuts back in 1979, Lee’s Donuts has been a favourite among both locals and tourists (in addition to numerous celebrities as well). The brand has slowly but surely been expanding across Metro Vancouver, opening locations in Burnaby, Richmond, and Tsawwassen. Now, the brand is planning on expanding even further, all with the help of its new president, Cameron Jarvis.

Jarvis joins Lee’s after multiple senior roles with Mary Brown’s Chicken and Taters, Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria, and Boston Pizza International.

“Lee’s Donuts has been a Vancouver favourite for generations, and we’ve taken our time to assemble the right leadership team for this next phase,” said Allan Bacani, CEO and co-owner of Lee’s Donuts. “Cam is an exceptional operator, a team builder, and someone who understands what it means to scale a brand while preserving its heart. With his experience and passion, we’re ready to bring Lee’s to the world.”

“Guests have been coming to Lee’s for freshly made donuts the way Canadians expect them to be, simple, classic, and crafted with care,” added Cameron Jarvis, president of Lee’s Donuts. “What excites me most is the incredible team behind the brand. They are passionate, committed, and ready for what’s next. Lee’s is primed for growth, and we’re ready to share this experience with more communities across Canada and beyond.”

Lee’s also added that this franchise demand is being driven almost entirely by incoming requests from fans wanting to bring Lee’s to their own neighbourhoods.

“Our job now is to introduce Lee’s to a wider audience, show people who we are, what we stand for, and why the brand means so much to Vancouver,” said Jarvis.

As for the current plan, Lee’s shared that it’s in the process of rolling out a multi-year strategy focused on thoughtful growth and modernization. Additionally, its newly formed R&D team is developing “innovative product lines” for catering, fundraising, special events, and fresh-baked goods, alongside the launch of a refreshed Lee’s Coffee Program coming later this year.

Additionally, customers can expect a new mobile app featuring digital ordering, a rewards program, and exclusive offers.
