'Fresh Off The Boat' star spotted at multiple Vancouver restaurants

Vancouver is home to numerous standout restaurants, to the point that even celebrities have taken notice. From Owen Wilson to Jimmy O. Yang to Hayden Christensen, plenty of Hollywood celebrities have stopped in our lovely city to enjoy a meal or two. Now, another celebrity has been spotted dining at multiple Vancouver establishments: Hudson Yang.
While he may be best known for his role as Eddie Huang in the popular sitcom Fresh Off The Boat, Yang is no stranger to the culinary world. Currently, he’s starred in two cooking shows: Crash Course Cuisine with Hudson Yang and Order Up.
Currently, Yang is spending some time sampling the local food scene in Vancouver for his second season of Order Up.
One of the spots that Yang stopped by was none other than Vancouver’s own Two Rivers Specialty Meats, where he joined the founder of Two Rivers Meat, Jason Pleym, to enjoy some steaks and cook up a few burgers.
“This was a blast and incredible to watch the talented team come together. Can’t wait to see the episode!” shared Two Rivers on Instagram.

But this wasn’t the only stop on Yang’s food tour. On his Instagram story, he posted that he enjoyed a meal at the newly opened steak frites restaurant Handson. He made sure to thank the restaurant for a “fantastic meal.”

Additionally, Yang took to the water to spend time catching Dungeness crab with Jenice Yu, “Sea-E-O” of eatFish.ca, a fish market that operated a Burnaby shop for 17 years before moving to a strictly online model at the end of April 2025.

It has yet to be confirmed whether Yang’s stop at Handson and his fishing voyage with Yu were part of his filming for the second season of Order Up.
