B.C. owned and operated grocery chain to open 26,000 sq. ft. location at CF Richmond Centre
Fresh St. Market just shared that it plans to open a 26,425 sq. ft. location at CF Richmond Centre.
The new store, which is located along Park Road right across from Park Plaza at the foot of the residential building, will mark the company’s tenth location in B.C., and is expected to open in Summer 2027.
“Richmond has one of the most exciting food cultures in Metro Vancouver with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients making Fresh St. Market an exceptional fit for this municipality and its residents,” said Palle Knudsen, vice president of retail operations and marketing at Georgia Main Food Group Limited.
“We have been looking for the right opportunity to bring Fresh St. Market to Richmond for years, and this location at Richmond Centre is centrally located in the hub of the city and abundant with visitors. We cannot wait to introduce Fresh St. Market to this bustling food-loving community.”

The grocery chain shared that this location will serve as a one-stop destination for a variety of goods, including locally sourced fresh produce, Certified Angus Beef, in-house freshly made sushi, and its signature hot-off-the-plate cookies. The store will also feature an expansive hot bar concept with ready-to-eat meal options and dedicated seating areas.
Additionally, Peak Donuts will operate at this location, serving up a variety of gourmet donuts like its viral Cheddar and Onion fritters.
