Vancouver grocery store to offer 50% off select products for grand opening
Vancouver loves a new grocery store, especially when that grocery store opens its doors with a sale.
On Dec. 12, Fresh St. Market softly opened its Kitsilano location at 4th and Macdonald to much fanfare.
“This new store will feature our largest hot bar yet and serve as a one-stop destination for everything from locally sourced fresh produce and Certified Angus Beef to freshly made sushi, our signature hot cookies, Peak donuts, a burrito bar, carvery, and so much more,” Palle Knudsen, vice-president of retail operations at Fresh St. Market, previously said.
“We’re not just opening another store — we’re creating a vibrant new food experience for the Kitsilano community.”
Here, the store brought with it its Canadian Certified Angus Beef Program, alongside fresh poultry sourced from the Fraser Valley, meats from Oyama Sausage Co. on Granville Island, and Two Rivers Meat from North Vancouver (including charcuterie from Two Rivers as well as charcuterie from Chop N Block Kamloops).
Plus, it also serves its signature chocolate chip walnut cookies, plus a new Peak Donuts location that offers 26 varieties of its popular donuts, including its savoury Cheddar and Onion Fritter.

Now, the store is preparing to celebrate its official grand opening on Friday, Jan. 16, with a ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m.

As part of the opening celebrations, Fresh St. is also promising to offer special promotions to those who visit from Jan. 16 to 22, with some products as much as 50 per cent off. This includes 47 per cent off Forecast Organic Whole Bean Coffee, 50 per cent off Favuzzi Artisanal Pasta, and 50 per cent off Crafted Pizza.

But don’t worry, Fresh St. Market is currently softly opened, meaning you can pop in for your groceries daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
