All 32 vendors joining Vancouver's FIFA Fan Festival's stacked food lineup

The FIFA World Cup is just around the corner, and with that come so many exciting happenings in the city. Among the many events is the FIFA Fan Festival, a free-to-enter festival with live match broadcasts, music, immersive experiences, and what we’re most excited about here at Dished: plenty of good eats.

At the event, you’ll be able to find a variety of options from local restaurants to food trucks alongside bars, concession stands, and refreshment stations located throughout the PNE Fairgrounds.

Different areas of the park will be dedicated to different types of food, all with their own distinct vibes. This includes areas like The Neighbourhood, The Campground, The Backyard, and The Vineyard, alongside plenty of food trucks which will be available on site.

Which restaurants will you be able to find in The Neighbourhood?

The Neighbourhood is an area that draws inspiration from Vancouver’s many street festivals and night markets. You’ll find a diverse mix of local restaurants and food vendors serving cuisine from around the globe in a relaxed, community atmosphere.

Peacock by Vij’s

Time Out Market Vancouver

Chicken Korma from Peacock by Vij’s (Time Out Market Vancouver)

You may recognize the name from its highly anticipated location at Time Out Market Vancouver, but Peacock by Vij’s will be coming to the FIFA Fan Festival, offering up a selection of menu favourites from its Time Out Market outpost.

This Vancouver mini-chain has been serving up delicious food since 2003 and now operates an impressive four locations. Nuba is definitely one of the city’s go-to spots for solid Lebanese food, including kebabs, falafels, flatbreads, and more.

Hot off the opening of La Pinche Taco Shop by La Taqueria, the taco vendor will be serving up all sorts of deliciousness at the FIFA Fan Festival this year.

The team behind the world’s second-best paella will also be at the festival, dishing up the award-winning dish. This is a serious must-try if you haven’t had the chance. This is also the same team behind Vancouver’s beloved Casa Molina.

Yes, there will be sushi at the festival, and yes, you should try it. Whether it’s serving up aburi sushi, salmon maki, or one of its non-sushi creations like katsu sandos and gyozas, Riz Sushi is always a solid option.

Rosie’s Rotisserie

From the same team behind Rosie’s BBQ (which will also be available at a different booth), Rosie’s Rotisserie will be offering flame rotisserie at the FIFA Fan Festival.

All the great BBQ-themed eats coming to The Campground

The Campground is located by the Amphitheatre and offers a relaxed, outdoorsy setting that is inspired by camping in B.C.’s parks. Expect rustic design and camp-inspired seating alongside plenty of BBQ favourites and cold drinks from the vendors below.

Truckin’ BBQ

Truckin’ BBQ serves what it calls the best Southern BBQ in the valley, and will be bringing it to the fan festival for everyone to try. Expect plenty of meat with all sorts of yummy sides.

A classic at any Vancouver event at this point, there are few things better in the world than some fresh kettle corn.

Roasted Revolution

Roasted Revolution is serving corn on the cob in as wide a variety as you can think of, from plain butter to covered in Flamin Hot Cheetos dust, truffle parmesan, Japanese aburi, and more.

All the great eats coming to The Backyard

This relaxed, family-friendly area is at the heart of the festival and will offer plenty of open green space, picnic seating, and activities for kids, in addition to all the delicious eats listed below.

Pastaggio is bringing fresh pasta to the festival, meaning you can dig into some vodka pasta and burrata with focaccia while watching the game.

A Vancouver staple at this point, Japadog has been around since 2005, serving up its Japanese take on hot dogs. Since then, it has operated multiple brick-and-mortar locations throughout Metro Vancouver, as well as multiple food carts.

Its most popular hot dog is the terimayo, which is a dog served with teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayo, fried onions, and seaweed. However, on its website, it lists over 34 varieties to choose from.

Rosie’s BBQ

Rosie’s BBQ is so good that it couldn’t just have one booth at the FIFA Fan Festival. At this location, it will be serving up its signature Southern BBQ.

Craving a sweet treat? Berry Sweets is serving up chocolate-covered strawberries. We’d definitely recommend its Dubai chocolate strawberries if you get the chance to try them.

B.C.’s first and only mobile Piaggio Ape pizzeria will be serving up slices at the FIFA Fan Festival.

Casereccio is serious about its gelato, something you’ll soon discover if you stop by its booth for a scoop or two of its many flavours.

What’s happening at The Vineyard?

At The Vineyard, you’ll find an area inspired by B.C.’s Okanagan Valley, featuring an open-air patio with plenty of greenery. In addition to wine, there will also be a selection of B.C. cheese and charcuterie platters alongside flatbread and gourmet breakfast sandwiches curated by Served Catering.
