Must-visit B.C. brewery is opening a new location just over an hour from Vancouver
One thing will remain true for Vancouver: we sure do love our breweries. Lucky for us, a fan-favourite B.C. spot is opening a location just an hour and a half drive away from the city.
Fans of Farmhouse Brewing soon won’t have to travel all the way to Chilliwack to visit their favourite brewery. ItĀ broke the news on Instagram that it is planning to open a location in Abbotsford.
“Three years ago we asked our boys if we should build another Farmhouse; 1 ‘aw heck yeah!’ 2 ‘let’s do this!’ 3 ‘yeah, let’s GO!'” shared the brewery. “With a unanimous family decision, we began the process. Having the first pour completed this morning…it’s definitely well underway!”
This new location will be found at Bakerview Farm, which is the home to EcoDairy as well as Natureās Pickinās Farm Market.
Farmhouse Brewing is best known for its craft beer in seasonal varieties like Blackberry Peach Cobbler Sour and Coconut and Cinnamon Stout. You can enjoy its beer on tap at its Chilliwack location and canned at select liquor stores. It also has a menu of thin-crust pizzas and other yummy bites in Chilliwack.
A big draw to Farmhouse Brewing Chilliwack is its outdoor patio. While specifics about its new location are still under wraps, we anticipate Abbotsford will also be getting an outdoor patio.
