Team behind top Vancouver pizzerias to open new sandwich shop location
Sandwich lovers who frequent Commercial Drive officially have something to look forward to: a new spot for your handheld fix is opening this fall.
You may already be familiar with Dante and its sandwich game. The original Robson Street location serves up authentic Italian sandwiches on house-made schiacciata bread and often sells out before the end of the day.
Now, the shop is launching a second location at 1110 Commercial Dr., bringing its popular sandwich artistry to a new neighbourhood in the city. Dante Commercial Drive will offer seats for 14, along with its signature menu of sandwiches layered with fresh ingredients like Stracciatella cheese, mortadella, tomato, prosciutto, mozzarella, and salami.

Dante is the latest venture from the team behind top Vancouver pizzerias Via Tevere, Don’t Argue Pizza, and Straight Outta Brooklyn. You can expect this new outpost to launch later this fall.
