Iconic outdoor dinner party returns to Vancouver after 18-month hiatus
Last year, Vancouver’s iconic outdoor dinner party Dîner en Blanc announced it would be hitting pause after over a decade of events.
For those who don’t know, this dinner party is a formal event that invites guests to dine in a picturesque setting outdoors while wearing all-white, an effect that is both visually striking and theatrical.
At the time of the announcement, the organizers said they were tentatively planning something for 2026. Now, we officially have more details on the return of the beloved event.
The 2026 dinner party is led by a new group of local organizers who describe themselves as “passionate creatives, united by a deep love of beauty, connection, and shared experience” with over 60 years of combined marketing expertise.
“Dîner en Blanc has always been about creating a beautiful moment that brings people
together,” said Tahira Endean, lead planner. “We are thrilled to invite the community back
to celebrate this unforgettable tradition and experience the magic of the evening once
again.”

True to Dîner en Blanc events of the past, the location will remain a closely guarded secret until the evening of the gathering, when guests will assemble at designated meeting points before being guided together to the final destination.
Additionally, this year will feature the theme Une Soirée Parisienne — La Belle Époque. The evening will celebrate an era of Paris defined by elegance, artistry, and refinement.

Tickets for Dîner en Blanc will be released in phases starting in early June. Phase 1 will give priority access to members from the previous Vancouver edition, followed by Phase 2 for guests invited by members, and finally Phase 3 for those on the “Fan List,” which you can sign up for online.
Dîner en Blanc officially returns on Thursday, Aug. 20.
