Vancouver's iconic outdoor dinner party is hitting pause after 11 years

After over a decade of white-hot events, Vancouver’s annual outdoor dinner party is hitting pause.
Diner en Blanc shared the news with its followers on Wednesday, saying it was going on a short hiatus after 11 years of unforgettable events.
For those who don’t know, this dinner party is a formal event that invites guests to dine in a picturesque setting outdoors while wearing all-white, an effect that is both visually striking and theatrical.

While the event won’t be going down in 2025, organizers said they are already tentatively planning for 2026.
“While we won’t be gathering this year, we remain deeply grateful for the incredible community that has made each edition so special. Thank you for being part of the Dîner en Blanc story in Vancouver. But don’t worry — we’re already looking ahead to 2026 and exploring ways to bring back the magic. We can’t wait to see you again—dressed in white and ready to celebrate!”
