Viral Vancouver cafe and matcha bar reveals it's opening a new location soon

If you live in Vancouver and are an avid TikTok scroller, you’ve most likely come across Cowdog and Joe Lee (who co-owns the cafe with Ryan Leenstra).
Cowdog got its start operating as a pop-up out ofĀ Dear Gus Snack Bar, drawing massive lines of Vancouverites itching to try their coffee and matcha creations. Then, it opened its first brick-and-mortar space back in July 2024. Now, Lee and Leenstra are gearing up to open a new location in Kitsilano at West 4th and Cypress.
The announcement was made on Instagram, where Cowdog shared they anticipate the new location will open sometime around mid-May.
