Vancouver Canucks star Elias Pettersson shows off photos from his beautiful summer wedding
Finally, something that can make Vancouver Canucks fans smile.
Vancouver Canucks star Elias Pettersson quietly got married in the summer, something that became apparent in August.
Pettersson confirmed as much during the Canucks season-opening media availability.
“I did get married, yeah,” he said casually. “It was the highlight [of my offseason]. Best day of my life.”
The Canucks star has now released photos from the day when he tied the knot with American model and influencer Katelyn Bird.
The couple got married on June 22.

It’s unclear where exactly the wedding took place; however, Byrd was posting photos and videos from her summer in Sweden.
A video posted on her YouTube page showcased a lighter side of Pettersson, where the couple adventured through Stockholm and revealed clips of the new home that they’re building together in Sweden.
The 26-year-old wasn’t the only Canucks player to get married this summer, as both Kiefer Sherwood and Filip Chytil each got hitched as well.
Pettersson, of course, is back in Vancouver, along with Byrd, who has been documenting her time in Vancouver on her YouTube page.
