It’s been quite a whirlwind of a year for Vancouver Canucks forward Filip Chytil.
The 25-year-old was in the midst of his seventh season with the New York Rangers before being traded to the Canucks in a deal that saw J.T. Miller head the other way. He wound up appearing in 15 games with the Canucks to close out the 2024-25 campaign, scoring two goals and six points. As it turns out, being forced to move to a new country wasn’t the only big thing on his plate.
On Friday night, Chytil reposted several Instagram stories of many congratulating him and his long-time girlfriend, Nikol Hlavackovn, on getting married. He has yet to post any photos of the event himself, while Nikol’s Instagram account is private.

Though Chytil doesn’t tend to post a ton on social media, especially about rather private moments, he has several photos dating back many years with Nikol.

Now that the stressors of planning a wedding are over, Chytil can begin to set his sights on the upcoming season. He is going to need to be great in order for the Canucks to make the playoffs, as he’s currently pencilled in as their number two centre behind Elias Pettersson.
