Jun 22 2020, 11:40 pm

Despite no hockey to speak of being played at Rogers Arena since March, the Vancouver Canucks’ 50/50 program has been full speed ahead during the pandemic.

The Canucks will complete a hat trick of online 50/50 raffles, announcing a new 50/50 raffle is open to fans in British Columbia, following successful draws on April 11 and May 30. The raffle is open today, running until Monday, June 29 at 9 pm, with tickets available through the Canucks’ website.

The cost for a ticket is the same as it usually is at the rink:

  • 3 tickets for $5
  • 7 tickets for $10
  • 50 tickets for $20
  • 150 tickets for $50

Over a million dollars has been generated from Canucks 50/50 raffles during the pandemic, raisingĀ $547,845 for local charities,Ā including organizations supporting community nourishment, mental health, and children’s support programming.

This latest raffle will benefit the Canucks’ Community Meal Program, which provides 3,500 meals per week to the Salvation Army and families in the Downtown Eastside through the Strathcona Community Centre. Funds will also support the Canucks for Kids Fund’s usual recipients, including theĀ Canucks Autism Network, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
