We asked our readers where to get the best fish and chips in Vancouver

Summer is here, and that means we are taking any excuse possible to head out into Vancouver and chow down on some crispy fish and chips.
Being located right by the water, Vancouver is home to plenty of restaurants serving the iconic dish. But with so many places to choose from, how can you decide where to go?
That’s why we asked our readers where they go for their favourite fish and chips, and we got plenty of answers. We condensed the list to feature only spots in Vancouver proper, so beloved restaurants like Pajo’s in Richmond and Moby Dick’s in White Rock won’t be included (both of which are definitely worth a visit the next time you’re in the area).
Keep on reading to see which Vancouver restaurants serve the best fish and chips in the city, according to our readers.

Jack’s Fish and Chips

Formerly Jack’s Chowder, Jack’s Fish and Chips has recently rebranded around their all-star product: fish and chips. Here, the team uses cold, non-alcoholic beer alongside soaking the fish in buttermilk. This results in a super flaky, super tender, and just really delicious fish that’s served with a side of its signature salt and vinegar fries.
