BC Place teases major concert announcement and fans are losing their minds
The list of concerts coming to Vancouver continues to grow, and a social media post by BC Place Stadium has fans on alert that another major act is coming to town.
BC Place cryptically posted a short video of a massive scoreboard and a football field with a bearded skull logo emblazoned on it.
The caption simply reads “08.13.2026,” which music lovers take to mean when the announcement is going to drop.
But what does it all mean? Dozens of fans on Facebook and Instagram think they have it solved, and they suspect it points to a global country superstar.

“Luke Combs, baby 🙌🔥,” commented one fan.
“See y’all at the Luke Combs show,” added another.
One major hint is the fact that the bearded skull logo in the social media clip is one associated with the multi-platinum, award-winning country artist from Asheville, North Carolina.
Another tell is that a distorted version of Combs’ smash hit ‘My Kinda Saturday Night’ is playing over the video.
The date listed, 08.13.2026, corresponds with one that the official Luke Combs HQ Instagram account states will also have an announcement from the country superstar.
That same official account also commented on the BC Place announcement with an “eyes” emoji.

Several fans shared their excitement about the possible show by Combs in the comments.
“I’m going to throw up 😭😭😭😭 BEST THING TO SEE,” said one.
“OH MY GOOOOOODNESSSSS,” exclaimed another person.
No matter who the concert announcement is for, fans will be in for a treat as BC Place Stadium was recently named among the world’s 20 best stadiums for concerts and live music.
Global live-music industry publication IQ Magazine, based in London, U.K., included the Downtown Vancouver venue in its 2026 Stadium Stars list, which profiles 20 stadiums considered standouts for their fan experience and ability to accommodate artists, promoters, and production crews.
