Autostrada Osteria Vancouver House set to open soon

Jan 18 2021, 10:55 pm

Autostrada Vancouver House is gearing up to open its doors at the end of January, and we can already taste the fresh housemade pasta.

This will be the third location for this restaurant concept in the city, and it is almost ready to open its doors and start taking reservations.

Restaurant founder and owner Dustin Dockendorf told Dished Vancouver that because the group’s Main Street and W Pender Street restaurants were opened in existing spaces, the new Vancouver House location was the first Autostrada where they could begin with a clean slate.

With the help of acclaimed design studio Ste. Marie, the team has built their “dream restaurant from scratch.”

Autostrada Vancouver House will offer seating for 70 people in a comfortable and timeless room.

We’re told the drink program will be very similar to the restaurant’s other locations, featuring Italian favourites when it comes to wine alongside beer and classic cocktails like Negronis and Aperol Spritz’.

As for food, you’ll find Autostrada’s signature array of ragu and pasta made using the highest quality ingredients, in addition to rotating protein dishes among other things from the mind of seasoned chef Stefan Hartmann.

The Vancouver House location will also offer a daily happy hour from 4 to 5:30 pm, featuring $6 drinks and antipasti on special as well.

We’ll keep you posted on an exact opening date for this spot, stay tuned.

Autostrada is the first of many exciting culinary openings slated for the area, including Vancouver’s first Momofuku Noodle Bar and upcoming crêpe and cider spot Ça Marche.
