The Canadian Grand Prix is back for its only stop in Canada as Formula 1 rolls into Montreal.
The big race happens on Sunday at 2:10 pm, but the city comes alive starting Thursday and it’s a four-day party with endless opportunities.
Regarded as one of the most prestigious and respected tourism events in the county, the Montreal Grand Prix welcomes over 450,000 people for the city-wide bash.
If you’re an out of towner or a local wanting to wake up and smell the gasoline, there’s a slew of happenings around town, for both the big spenders and people who want to just soak up the atmosphere. (Just don’t forget, everyone needs a little pit stop now and then.)

Official Opening Night 2019
The coveted party, formerly known as “The Grand Evening” is returning on Thursday to launch the weekend of events.
The newly built Four Seasons Hotel will host a prestigious night of decadent food, premium open bar, a VIP area, and artistic performances.

Bord’Elle Grand Prix 2019

Auberge St-Gabriel, a gorgeous 330-year-old inn nestled in Old Montreal, has been crowned the “Off-Circuit” event locale of the Montreal Grand Prix for three straight years.

Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival
Ever since 1999, the Crescent Street Festival has transformed the popular street into a free venue for race fans, tourists, and Montrealers to celebrate the biggest race in Canada.
From race car displays to mini-games, live music, DJs, and a bunch of great restaurants and bars, Crescent Street is the go-to spot for Grand Prix madness.

New City Gas

Grand Prix Little Italy 2019
For the 10th consecutive year, Little Italy and its merchants have welcomed tourists and Montrealers to celebrate the arrival of the summer season during the Grand Prix Little Italy.
More than 250,000 visitors are expected to attend this event honouring the Grand Prix of Canada. Every year, children’s entertainment, terraces, street food, boutiques, car shows, and parties await young and old in the Italian neighbourhood of Montreal.
