Calgary restaurant known for its noodles opens new location and it's a little different

Popular plant-based noodle spot, Nan’s Noodle House, has just opened its third Calgary location, and this one is a little bit different.

Earlier this year, Nan’s Noodle House revealed that it would be opening a third outpost in the city. Now, the time is here, with Nan’s soft opening at Kitchen Hub, a brand-new “digital food hall” in Calgary’s Beltline.

Kitchen Hub, which touts itself as “Canada’s first digital food hall,” allows diners to order dishes from multiple restaurants all on one order. Rather than a traditional food hall with seating, customers will be able to order at Kitchen Hub in person, on its website or through third-party delivery apps.

To ensure the experience is authentic, all food is prepared by each restaurant’s own chefs using their own ingredients and recipes, so the dishes are always on point.

Nan’s Noodle House is the first YYC local restaurant to open up at the new Kitchen Hub, with Bro’Kin Yolk Express also confirmed to be joining them in the near future. Several other restaurant partners will be heading to Kitchen Hub in the new year.

The spot will be serving its plant-based takes on dishes such as ramen, pho, banh mi, and Thai and Vietnamese-inspired plates.

It uses fresh and local ingredients to serve its huge array of plant-based eats, making all of its meat substitutes in-house, with options such as plant-based pork belly, char sui chicken, and beef satay.

For now, Nan’s Noodle House will be open for walk-in orders from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. or for delivery through DoorDash.
