Calgary's newest tropical cocktail bar has just opened and it has 30+ margarita flavours
Winter may have hit Calgary in full force, but the city’s newest cocktail bar is bringing tropical vibes to 17th Avenue.
Jungle Bird, which touts itself as a “tiki cave lounge,” has just opened its doors, giving Calgarians a chance to escape the snow with a visit to a tropical paradise right in the heart of the city.
“Think basalt and bamboo, torches and tropicals. A cavernous lounge where heat and haze meet bright citrus and island spice. Settle into the warmth; the night slows down here,” Jungle Bird says on its website.

The spot offers an extensive bar menu of signature cave cocktails, classic tiki sips and margaritas and mojitos that come in over 30 different flavours.
As well as its large cocktail list, Jungle Bird also serves up bar snacks from tropical sliders, nachos, tempura shrimp, and tacos.
So if you’re searching for respite from the cold, Jungle Bird might just be the adventure you’re looking for.
