Highly anticipated new Calgary brunch restaurant set to open next week
One of Calgary’s most well-known and loved brunch spots has finally revealed the opening date of its highly anticipated new location.
Monki Breakfast Club & Bistro is gearing up to open its fifth location in the city, with its newest outpost in Seton set to open on Sept. 8.
“We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space and share some delicious food with our new community,” the restaurant said in an Instagram post.

Decadent brunches are the name of the game here, with a menu packed with everything from waffles and eggs Benedict to French toast, poutine and more.
Some Monki favourites include the reverse French toast, served with cream cheese, strawberry compote, and a white chocolate and hazelnut drizzle.
If you’re craving something savoury, the brisket poutine is a meat lover’s dream, featuring slow-braised beef brisket, truffle ricotta, hash browns, a poached egg, and hollandaise.
The drinks on offer are just as flashy, with boozy coffees, mimosas and beermosas.
Alongside its new Seton spot, Monki has four locations across the city at Beltline, Inglewood, Greenwich, and Crowfoot.
