Calgary restaurant known for its decadent brunch is opening a new location
One of Calgary’s most well-known and loved brunch spots is opening a new location next month, and living in the south is about to get all the sweeter.
Monki Breakfast Club & Bistro is gearing up to open its fifth location in the city, with its newest outpost located at 19587 Seton Cres. SE.
“We’re thrilled to announce that we’re opening a brand new Monki location in Seton — just steps from South Health Campus,” Monki said in an Instagram post.
The Seton spot is slated to open in late August, with an official opening date coming soon.

Decadent brunches are the name of the game here, with a menu packed with everything from waffles and eggs Benedict to French toast, poutine and more.
Some Monki favourites include the reverse French toast, served with cream cheese, strawberry compote, and a white chocolate and hazelnut drizzle.
If you’re craving something savoury, the brisket poutine is a meat lover’s dream, featuring slow-braised beef brisket, truffle ricotta, hash browns, a poached egg, and hollandaise.
The drinks on offer are just as flashy, with boozy coffees, mimosas and beermosas.
In the meantime, Monki has four locations across the city at Beltline, Inglewood, Greenwich, and Crowfoot.
