Canadian ramen chain continues Alberta expansion with new Calgary location

It’s been a long time coming, but one of North America’s largest ramen chains has finally opened its second Calgary location.
Kinton Ramen, a Toronto-based chain known for its authentic Japanese ramen, has just opened in the Mission neighbourhood at 1904 4th St. SW.
The menu at this casual and relaxed spot has been developed by Chef Aki Urata, using only the freshest ingredients to create top-quality noodles and broths.
The new outpost forms part of a larger Area Representative Agreement between Kinton Ramen and The Labreche Group, which aims to open 12 outposts in Alberta over the next five years.
Earlier this year, the popular ramen joint opened its first outpost in the city at South Trail Crossing. Another location in Uxborough is set to open later in the summer.
The chain will also be opening its first Edmonton location in 2025. Kinton Ramen now has over 40 locations across Canada and the U.S.
