Popular Calgary bakery has revealed the opening date for its brand-new location
We’ve been waiting for this one! Prepare to indulge in all the baked goods as one of the city’s most popular bakeries has finally shared the opening date for its second Calgary location.
After initially opening on Macleod Trail in 2023, Hey Sugar has been teasing the opening of its new downtown location within Bankers Hall. Now, the popular spot for baked goods and sweet treats has revealed that it’ll be opening its doors on July 28.
The spot will be opening its doors to the public at 10 a.m., and Calgarians will be able to grab free treats and take part in giveaways to celebrate its opening day.

Over the past couple of years, Hey Sugar has become a staple in the city for baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and donuts.
The drool-worthy selection includes treats such as blueberry cheesecake donuts and triple chocolate gold cookies.
But if you’re looking for beautiful cakes to celebrate special occasions, Hey Sugar’s cakes can be customized by flavour, size, and frosting colour for a completely unique look.
