Chipotle is opening a highly anticipated new Calgary location next week
After finally opening its first Calgary location in the Northeast in 2023, the fast-casual restaurant chain Chipotle has opened outposts across the city. Now, YYC is finally getting a central location.
Chipotle is opening its newest location on 17th Avenue SW, located underneath the almost-completed Enzo apartment building, this month.
Doors will be officially open to the public on May 6, when Calgarians will be able to get their hands on Chipotle’s build-your-own burritos, bowls and tacos.
Those superfans out there may want to mark their calendars, as the first 50 customers in line on opening day will receive a free Chipotle T-shirt.
The new spot will be open every day from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Last month, Anat Davidzon, Chipotle’s managing director of international, told Dished that the brand would be doubling its presence across Alberta in 2025, bringing the total number of restaurants in the province to over 10.
While Chipotle has largely focused on suburbs in Calgary to date, with locations in Sunridge, Seton, and Northland, Davidzon said more would be opening in the inner city too.
