Calgary's new pizza and pasta restaurant opens in an iconic location
A brand-new neighbourhood restaurant has just opened its doors in a historic Calgary building, and it’s a carb lover’s dream.
Acme Pizza & Pasta Co., the sister restaurant to Acme Pizza Co., has just opened its doors in Calgary’s Sunnyside neighbourhood, taking over the space in the Vendome Block previously occupied by Vendome.
While Calgarians may have tried dishes at its dine-in location at Tailgunner Brewing in Sunalta or from its take-out spot in Renfrew, the new Sunnyside restaurant is Acme’s first full-service restaurant.

On the menu are classic pies, such as Margherita and pepperoni, as well as a variety of other options.
Top picks include the Alfredo, which draws inspiration from the classic pasta dish and features a base of Alfredo sauce topped with chicken, mozzarella, bacon, parsley, and black pepper.
In addition to its pizza, Acme Pizza & Pasta Co. also offers a wide range of pasta dishes, including pappardelle bolognese and linguine limone.
Acme Pizza & Pasta Co. is currently open from 4 p.m. every day. However, the restaurant has teased that lunch and brunch services will be introduced soon, so stay tuned.
