It’s been a busy week for traffic enforcement in Metro Vancouver and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
On Thursday morning, Vancouver police Traffic Sergeant Mark Christensen said he caught three cars along the 4200 blocks of West 16th Avenue.

Sgt. Christensen said on Twitter that the vehicles were all caught for excessive speeding. They were going 98 km/h, 100 km/h, and 107 km/h in a residential area with a 50 km/h speed limit.
He adds that the three drivers were pulled over within the span of five minutes.
Each vehicle was impounded and the drivers were issued tickets of $487, the maximum fine for excessive speeding.

Earlier this week, the Surrey RCMP impounded a Lamborghini that was going 195 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
