Porter Airlines to launch year-round route between Vancouver and London, Ontario

Porter Airlines is adding a non-stop route between Vancouver and London, Ontario, with these permanent year-round flights set to launch in Spring 2027.
This service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and London International Airport (YXU) is scheduled to begin on April 12, 2027. The airline notes that the route will operate at least once per day, reaching a peak frequency of 11 flights per week depending on the time of year.

This new Vancouver route is one of five domestic additions announced by the airline last month, as it expands its presence in southwestern Ontario.
“We’re pleased to welcome Porter Airlines’ new service between Vancouver and London, Ontario, creating a convenient link between British Columbia and Southwestern Ontario,” said Russell Atkinson, the director of air service development for Vancouver International Airport, in a statement.
“This new route expands choice for travellers while strengthening connectivity for business, tourism and visiting friends and family. We look forward to working with Porter as they continue to grow their network.”
Porter Airlines will use its Embraer E195-E2 jets for this new route serving Vancouver.
Currently, YVR is not served by any non-stop services to YXU.
This adds to Porter Airlines’ existing permanent year-round, non-stop YVR routes reaching Hamilton, Toronto-Pearson International Airport, Ottawa, Montreal Metropolitan Airport, and Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. It also operates a seasonal route to Phoenix, Arizona.
Alongside the new service for YVR, Porter Airlines will also introduce new non-stop routes linking YXU with Ottawa, Montreal Metropolitan Airport, and Halifax, also on April 12, 2027. An Edmonton service will follow on May 6, 2027.
