If Mexico City has been on your travel bucket list, you’re in luck because another airline has added a direct flight route to the hot-spot destination from Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

Flair Airlines said the route will kick off in October 2025, with three flights per week, and one-way fares starting at $141 for service from YVR to Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez (MEX).

Starting Oct. 27, flights from YVR to MEX will depart on Monday, Friday, and Sunday at 7:10 a.m. Flair’s one-way fares for this route will start at $140.

Return flights from MEX to YVR will depart on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday starting Oct. 28, at 12:45 a.m. and arrive back in Vancouver at 5:55 a.m. Fares will start at $120.

Flair’s service to Mexico City expands its routes within the country, which currently includes flights to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and Guadalajara.

“The addition of Mexico City, the country’s cultural, political, and culinary hub, opens new opportunities for travel, tourism, business, and connection,” stated Flair.

The airline will also kick off direct flights between Toronto (YYZ) and MEX in late October.

According to YVR’s 2025 non-stop destinations list, non-stop routes to Mexico City are currently serviced by Air Canada and Aeromexico, with 21 flights per week during summer and winter months.
