Crystal by Cirque du Soleil

What: Crystal, Cirque Du Soleil’s first-ever acrobatic performance on ice, is coming to the Pacific Coliseum for six shows from June 4 to 8, 2025.

The first Cirque production to use real snow will showcase banquine, aerial straps, hand-to-trapeze, juggling, hand balancing and more during each performance.

The Return of Colin Mochrie

What: Legendary Canadian comedian Colin Mochrie is coming to Vancouver’s The Improv Centre for a limited run of shows this month, and fans won’t want to miss out.

The Granville Island comedy destination is hosting The Return of Colin Mochrie from June 4 to 6, with some of the best local improvisers joining the Whose Line Is It Anyway? star on stage for the show.

Theatre Under the Stars: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Legally Blonde The Musical

What: Theatre Under the Stars’ 85th year at the Malkin Bowl will feature Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Legally Blonde The Musical. The shows will run on alternate evenings from June 27 to Aug. 16, and promise to be another great year of theatre in Stanley Park.

What: The international Irish dance phenomenon is back in Vancouver. Riverdance 30 —The New Generation draws on Irish traditions to present a rejuvenated show at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Bard on the Beach

What: Bard on the Beach is one of Canada’s largest not-for-profit, professional Shakespeare festivals. Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site

What: Doors Open Richmond is presented by the Richmond Museum and is a weekend-long, city-wide public celebration of heritage, culture, and the arts. For its 18th year, over 50 participating destinations will open their doors, offering culturally rich and inclusive experiences for free. These include museums, cultural organizations, farms, artist studios, faith-based institutions, civic buildings, and more.

Back from the Dead

What: Vancouver’s Renegade Theatre Company presents the world premiere of the apocalyptic rock musical, Back from the Dead. Travel to the future wasteland of Nowhere and meet the group known as The No One as they go on a dangerous journey to find the mysterious Greenspace.

Saturday Night Laughs

What: Get your fill of funny at Saturday Night Laughs at Portland Craft Beer Bar & Restaurant. This month’s headliner is Jacob Balshin, who has performed at JFL 42, on CBC’s New Wave of Comedy, and won the I Heart Jokes Awards Newcomer of the Year.

Stardust: A Diamond Heist Dance Cabaret and East Van Variety Show: A Fundraiser for WISH

What: The Cultch is hosting two great events on Thursday, June 12. In the Historic Theatre is Stardust, a bedazzling cabaret dance revue that tells the story of three rival teams of spies battling over the Stardust Diamond. Packed with gorgeous costumes, thrilling choreography, and more.

In the Vancity Culture Lab is the East Van Variety Show, a night of great live performances to raise funds for WISH Vancouver. The lineup includes magicians, comedians, storytellers and musicians, and helps to support a great cause.
