Legendary Canadian comedian Colin Mochrie is coming to Vancouver’s The Improv Centre for a limited run of shows this spring, and fans won’t want to miss out.
The Granville Island comedy destination is hosting The Return of Colin Mochrie from June 4 to 6, with some of the best local improvisers joining the Whose Line Is It Anyways? star on stage for the show.
According to Jalen Saip, artistic director for The Improv Centre, the shows will be a hilarious homecoming for the beloved comedian.

“Anytime that Colin Mochrie comes back to perform on our stage is a delight for both our audiences and our performers!” said Saip in a release.
“We count ourselves very lucky to have such a talented, kind, and collaborative alumni member who makes us all feel like part of the team. We can’t wait to perform with Colin again.”
Mochrie, winner of LOL: Last One Laughing Canada and a This Hour Has 22 Minutes cast member, grew up in Vancouver and got his start in comedy on stages all over town.

“Vancouver is my city, where everything started for me,” Mochrie previously shared with Daily Hive. “I love the mountains, the oceans, and parks. We’ve got great restaurants and great people here. It’s hard to find a city as beautiful as this.”
Mochrie and his actress and comedian wife, Debra McGrath, wrote, produced and starred in the CBC show Getting Along Famously, and toured their Deb and Colin’s One Couple Show. He is also one-half of Hyprov alongside Master Hypnotist Asad Mecci, and is currently on tour with Whose Line castmate Brad Sherwood.
