Who would’ve thought Vancouver would be a premier destination for single people looking for summer love?
It’s true, according to new data from Bumble, thanks in part to a recent survey revealing that more people are open to travel and have relationships with people who aren’t in their current city.
Bumble says that it recently polled its global community to figure out where singles are planning to spend their summer vacations, and for some daters, the top summer spots worldwide for a holiday romance.

Believe it or not, Vancouver was named the top spot, beating out New York, Paris, Costa Rica, and Montreal.
Bumble says most people using its platform globally (57%) are looking for summer romance while travelling abroad.
A further 48% add that they’re excited to do so.
Bumble also touted a feature it offers via its app called Travel Mode, which lets you change your location before or during your trip to match with people in the city you’re travelling to.
A big reason some of the survey respondents enjoy going on dates while travelling is to learn the local culture better. Nearly half of the respondents said they look forward to dating and meeting other singles while travelling, and more than one in four surveyed said they’re more open to who they consider dating while on vacation.
Another reason most people enjoy travelling for love is “because they are more spontaneous and adventurous when doing so.”
While Vancouver might be at the top of the Bumble list, what city would you pick as the top destination for summer love?
