What: The Canada Sevens will be taking over BC Place Stadium for two days of rugby action, for the only Canadian stop on the World Rugby Sevens Series tour. Spend the two days eating, drinking, partying, and watching the exhilarating, fast-paced action of the rugby games — with over 40,000 of your closest friends from around the world. What: Showcasing over 45 craft breweries and a new eats format with beer-friendly snacks. Choose either the matinee 12:30 to 3 pm or evening 7 to 9:30 pm tasting.

KidSport’s Massive Used Equipment Sale

What: A huge variety of high-quality used sporting goods at incredible prices. Everything from bikes and hockey gear to fitness equipment and wetsuits and everything in between. Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts

What: In celebration of the 30th anniversary of their debut, self-titled album, Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts return to the Commodore Ballroom on Saturday, March 9. The Juno Award-winning band, whose present-day lineup features Bentall and Legendary Hearts Mike Crozier, Jack Guppy, Colin Nairne, and Dave Reimer, released the platinum-selling album in June 1988.

Vancouver International Dance Festival

What: The Vancouver International Dance Festival (VIDF) is a three-week-long festival with internationally revered artists and lauded Vancouver performers, workshops, and interactive dance activities. The 2019 VIDF will showcase Canadian premieres from Japan’s Dairakudakan, three world premieres from Vancouver’s Vision Impure, Olivia C. ShowOff – Live Painting Event and Fundraiser

What: A night of art and entertainment where four artists – Sue Cowan, Andrew McDermott, Kerry Vaughn Erickson, and  Jeff Wilson – come together to create one-of-a-kind pieces right before your eyes. Working from the same reference source under a time restriction, these artists will each create something unique, flavoured with their own style. At the end of the night, the finished pieces will be put to silent auction with the proceeds split between the participating artists and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
