What’s better than one dog? How about hundreds?

Vancouver’s biggest dog meet-up is returning to Trout Lake Park for another year.

Any dog owner with a furry friend that loves to play well with others is invited to join the festivities and meet hundreds of other canines.

Thousands of owners have responded to the Facebook event, with close to 700 attending and 3,000 more who have expressed interest.

According to organizers, past events have drawn in as many as 1,100 dogs, with up to 200 canines present at any given time.

Organizers also explain that although attendance is high, Trout Lake Park is quite large and dog owners and their pets will often spread out.

Those with shy dogs or puppies will also be able to find similar dogs to spend time with if they wish.

Even if you don’t own a dog, you’re still more than welcome to pay a visit to the event and meet some new friends.

So whether you’re into corgis, labradors, or wire fox terriers, you’d best come on down and get in on the fun.
