Vessi 500 Dragon Boat Championship

KidSport Vancouver Pizza Pigout

What: The Burnaby Art Gallery and School District 41 are partnering for the latest Arts Alive, a celebration of students’ diverse interpretations of a theme. Elementary school students were encouraged to work together in their classrooms to investigate what they think is awesome.

The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits”
What: Banksy has officially landed in Vancouver — and it’s the perfect excuse to visit one of the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods.

Lapu Lapu Tragedy Fundraiser

What: After the tragic event that took the lives of 11 people and injured dozens more at the Lapu Lapu festival on April 26, some of Vancouver’s top chefs are coming together for a fundraising event to support the victims and their families.
Organized by Gourmet Warehouse owner Caren McSherry, the event will have 11 of Vancouver’s top chefs donate their time and talent to support the Filipino community.

Echoes of Memory
What: Museum & Archives of North Vancouver’s latest feature exhibition spotlights untold stories of aging, memory loss, and dementia and how community can shape a collective human experience. Echoes of Memory features over 100 items from the museum’s collection as well as a touring display by Canadian Artist Karen Bondarchuk titled A Crow A Day.

The Perfect Bite
What: Time to pick up your magnifying glass, detectives! An official Netflix murder mystery dinner is coming to Vancouver, and you’re invited to take a bite out of crime.
Secret City Adventures is collaborating with Netflix on the event, which will see guests watching a murder case unfold while deciphering clues. Of course, they will also enjoy a delicious dinner that is simply to die for.

Sticky: A Post-It Note Show
What: Sticky: A Post–it Note Art Show is happening at Gallery 881, with over 100 local and international artists taking part.
